I recently had to send my brand new Colt SAA back to the factory (that's another story) for warranty service. Of course, the shippers have us all by the short hairs for overnight shipping at about $50 a pop.
Of course, I'm tracking the progress of the shipment on teh web ane see that it's delivered as promised. However, FedEx delivers my package (along with three other guns), to the wrong address. I know this because Colt denies delivery, noting that the person signing for the packages doesn;t work for Colt. FedEx swears up and down that Colt has them, and they have proof of delivery.
Well, well.....turns out that FedEx delivered next door to Colt and the packages were just sitting there. Colt security had to go next door and retrieve them. Luckily, none of the packages were opened.
I also just spoke with FedEx and reminded them that they owe me a full refund on the guaranteed shipping.
Some premium service. It's just a gold-plated turd, no better than regular ground, only more expensive.
