Just took delivery of a BE triangle rest. Already did away with the windage cable.

For you guys with these rests, what are you using to transport them??

I'll admit I really want a "Wakalong Box", but need something now, till I can have a box built. Quick, easy soloution:

and on sale at my local HD. I'll add a plywood bottom to protect the plastic from the spikes. It should fit the rear bag some few odds and end and my benchtop spotting scope mount.

When I get the wooden box done I'll repurpose it for something else in my gun room. There's just no such thing as too many storage boxes.

I used a tote for my rest, rear bags and bench accessories but the damn thing got so heavy I just couldn’t do it any more. Now I keep the rest seperate and just carry bags and other stuff in a medium cooler. Works great..

It may come to that.

I've got my current little action packer tote that I use now, so I can always just use both and lighten the load(s). Really though, for the majority of use, it goes from my back door, to my UTV, to my bench, so not a lot of hauling involved.

That’s a great set up, I wish I had it. My rest is almost twenty pounds, add in about 28-30 pounds of various bags and junk on top of a twenty pound rifle & case, I needs me one of dem rides !!

While this thread still lives, I've got to give a shout out to the folks at Protektor!

Ordered a custom front bag that fits the BE rest and a matching rear bag on Tuesday. Guy I spoke with was extremely helpful. Just got the shipping notice today, that it will be here SAT via FEDEX!

Matches my experience with Protektor. Enjoy.
