I did some searching on the site and saw just a few posts about the Barnes Match Burner Bullets. They were from a few years ago when they first hit the market. Picked up a box and brought them home. They are shorter than the 6.5 Berger VLD's I have. I weighed a few and they all weighed in at 140. Are they worth it, not worth it. Anyone with some good experience with them?

I guess this is another topic that has limited interest. I guess we need to stick a fork it, its done.

I haven't shot the match burners, but I did shoot some of their X bullets in a 35 whelen that was smoking. I've thought about trying g them

I can send you a few to try if you want? I loaded up a few last night. First with AA2700 and then using them with some others favorite 140 grain loads. I will try them out next week at F-Class on Monday. Picked up a pound of AA4350 and IMR4350. I was surprised at the performance of AA2700. I also picked up another 100 pieces of brass. Its hard to find people who use the Match Burners and also hard to find people who use AA2700. I picked up a few pounds because the local store was having a sale on the stuff for like $18 a pound.
