so if I was going to hang a suppressor on the end of a 16-18" AR barrel, does barrel profile matter much? I assume the barrel is only as strong as it's weakest point, so a lightweight profile wouldn't be any different than an m4/government profile?
Basically I am looking at a thin barrel like a faxon gunner https://www.opticsplanet.com/faxon-...-6-5-grendel-mid-length-416-r-qpq-barrel.html
vs a heavily fluted hbar like that ballistic advantage DMR barrels. http://ballisticadvantage.com/18-inch-65-grendel-spr-fluted-midlength-ss-premium-barrel.html
suppressor would weight in the 15oz range. I have more concerns about structural integrity and overall accuracy than I do about POI shift. lets face it, once you have a can, how often are you really going to shoot without it?
