Barrel thread for Martini-Henry .577/.450?

A friend of a friend has a Martini-Henry, the usual .577/.450 military action. I think he has just the action, which he wants to re-barrel.

Does anyone know the twist for mounting a new barrel in that receiver?

I've referred him to Garry James at, "Guns & Ammo", but if anyone knows, speak up and be heard! Especially if your name is Ross Seyfried...

Have him do a web search under Martini-Henry ( I use gun-friendly Teoma. com rather then google). There are a lot of sites dedicated to that old boomer and some very smart people on those sites.
