that thing is very cool! Long barrel and someone name engraved on it too, I love that the gun has a traceable history, that box/paper is a plus tooJust like they used on the Ponderosa!
(If that gun showed up in my neighborhood at that price, I'd give it serious consideration. It most likely is a 60s or early 70s gun, and unless it's been messed with, the S.A. trigger will be utter perfection.)
did you wax the gun? I’ve been using Ren Wax and it’s really good stuff
Nope, just a generous coating of silicone spray, though I've been meaning to try Ren Wax for some applications.did you wax the gun? I’ve been using Ren Wax and it’s really good stuff
my 650 mil Ren Wax won’t last long! lolSweet. 550 with box would be a good price around my neck of the woods. Looks like it would polish up nice.
not on stainless yet, any good?I just got my tub of Ren Wax from Amazon today. Don't worry, they'll make more.lol. have you tried it on a stainless gun yet?
I need a Hand Eject in my life! love the frame angles and taper barrelWhile they are technically not model 10s, they would eventually become one. The 1905 1st change was shipped in 1906 and is chambered for 32 Winchester. The1905 target was shipped in 1916 and accepts the 38 special cartridge. View attachment 1179271

Nice. I'v been looking for a 4 inch model 10. I'll be checking some shops by deer camp next week.Man, that’s a great looking revolver @Mark_Mark
I would love to come across a 6” model 10 that looks that nice. The “C Cartwright” on the barrel is odd. Not sure how I feel about that.
Ah, I’d probably buy it then make up some sensational story about Chuck Cartwright. The greatest lawman in the Great Northwest…
Gratuitous photo of my model 10-8 C&E taken at the rtoday.

I have been doing searches on C. Cartwright in Washington. No luck, but I was thinking about it. Would you put your name on an inaccurate gun? The ejector rod has some wear so this gun has been shot a bit. I doubt someone would put their name that nicely on a gun that they weren’t proud of.I need to get a 3-4” barrel 10 with thr tapper barrel and service lanyard!
or Clarice Cartwright the silencer of the Lamb!
I told myself no but I did put it on layaway! I have a Smith Problem!I have been doing searches on C. Cartwright in Washington. No luck, but I was thinking about it.
