Hi guys,

I asked Tim Sundles of Buffalo Bore a question on his +P ammo in a Beretta Model 3032 Tomcat (INOX or regular). The manual says to NOT use +P ammo in it, and some have reported frame cracking from years past even using non +P ammo, and, AFAIK, this issue has been corrected.

Outside of the frame issue, here's what Tim Sundles has to say about his 32 Ammo in a Tomcat, verbatim, outside of a sentence to me:

"Our 32 acp+P load is not loaded to any greater pressures than normal 32 acp ammo. Yes we get more velocity, with a heavier bullet than normal, but our pressures are still within SAAMI specs. We simply call it +P so that folks will get the idea it is more powerful than normal 32 acp ammo."

If you have any questions, feel free to ask him on the BB Contact Us form.

FYI, I've actually fired a clip of his ammo in my Tomcat without issues. We'll see how it holds up, but Tim is very honest, especially in his velocity figures - I posted awhile back on a test I did with Doubletap vs. BB 125g +P loads in a 3 inch Model 60.

Tim's was even HIGHER than what he advertised on the webpage for the same gun. McNett's didn't even come close to what he even advertised for a shorter BBL gun...

Chris
