Only BCA I have isa Veterans Day giveaway .223 Wylde heavy barrel on my FrankenAR. It works. It;snot tack drive, but they stay on target, can't complain, especially being free.

I purchased a 350 Legend upper to hunt with this year and it has been awesome. MOA accuracy and well fit and finished. I like the side charging handle better than the forward assist.

I have a 350 Legend that BCA supplied all the parts but was assembled by another company (pro2A I think) after some massaging of the magazines and feed ramps it's been very reliable, and accuracy was never the problem. 100 yards is at worst 1.25 MOA and most times it's slightly under MOA.

My dad got a complete 5.56 pistol upper from BCA and it has been 100% reliable. Completely untouched with a red dot it shot easily under 1 inch groups at 55 yards. Me and my dad have zero complaints.

I just bought a second upper from them, a 16" "new" M-lok. Since I haven't heard back from the friend I was going to give the lower I had to, I figured it would fill the carbine role for me until I do. My first was a 10.5" pistol upper, and I've been satisfied with it.

I’ve had a BCA 20” stainless 6.5Grendel MLOK upper for a few years. No complaints, I shoot steel case so not looking for sub MOA performance, at the time it was $240 w/BCG and a comparable PSA was $280.

I also have a few PSA uppers, good stuff. Including a 12” nitride 6.5Grendel upper. Both have great customer service if there’s problems.

But I’d hold out for an MLOK handguard if that’s what you want. Both offer most of their uppers in MLOK.

I recently got a complete 18" 450 Bushy MLOK upper from BCA for $259 - runs like a top, and you cannot beat the price.

One side charger handle kept coming loose, but no big deal.

The screw that holds the handle on is the one screw on a gun I would use blue loctite on.

Bear Creek is responsible for me learning to assemble my own ARs from scratch, because over the years I have had to take apart and correctly reassemble their lowers and uppers numerous times. Their barrels are usually pretty good shooters, though occasionally I've had to send one back that was completely out of spec. Don't be surprised to find the barrel nut coming loose on your upper, or the 2 out of the 6 handguard screws being locktited while the other 4 are loose, or find the castle nut loose the first time you use the rifle.

But they do offer a lot of variety of calibers and barrel lengths, and the occasional match grade barrels they have offered have been excellent. I have found their customer service hit and miss over the years, but they have eventually rectified the issues I have encountered. I cannot recommend their lowers, however. I live near and work in Houston, TX, and Primary Arms has a great selection of stripped and full lowers as well as parts kits, etc, that allow me to easily customize my ARs.

Bear Creek can be a good deal, but they can also be so poorly put together at times you wonder how they passed inspection and were shipped out. I've talked to their warranty staff numerous times, and they claim they make every part for the rifles in house. In the end I have never had one of their uppers that did not end up shooting good, even if I had to send it back to get the barrel replaced. Remember to keep the shipping box. I hope this helps.
