I found a site selling the BK-11 for $29.99. It looks like a serious knife. Though some think it big for a neck knife, I don't have a problem with its size. For me it would be more of a slim utlity/hunting knife that can be easily concealed or carried on the belt.

I can't find the link right now at work, but some have done some nice cord wraps on the handles of the Necker. They are nice and handy.

I have one...awesome knife for the money. My suggestion would be to buy a small Tek-Lok then you can use it as a normal belt knife or fasten it to a ruck. I've used my in the field on a...well...somewhat involunatary 15 mile hike (El Tejon and SamlautRanger know what I'm talking about). The knife carried well and I would recommend it to anyone.

Good knife and it has a built in wire cutter/breaker that intentionally doubles as a bottle opener

Thanks for the feedback. matthewdanger, if you find that link regarding cord wrapping, let me know. I'd like to see how it looks and want to give it a try.

I got it Saturday. I am very please with the knife. It is a lot bigger than one would think of for a neck knife. Mine will mainly ride in a briefcase or lashed to a pack. The blade is very sharp and is perfectly shaped for skinning. I tried cord wrapping, several different ways and really liked what it did for the grip. I think it was a good bargain and am glade I bought the knife.

One thing, the sheath really holds onto the knife. I'll take my time until it loosens up a little. I've also made a pouch sheath that covers 3/4 of the knife for belt wear. It is boned and holds the knive securely.
