Bed a M14 syn stock?

I have a match grade M1A with a thick walnut match stock. It was fine for shooting matches, but I prefer a thinner stock for general use, and was thinking of going to a GI syn stock. Will I lose alot of accuracy doing this? If so, is it possible/advisable to glass bed a syn stock? Thanx-

I have an M1A that I used to shoot in High Power matches.
The stock is a surplus synthetic with some glass bedding in the receiver area.
The rifle shoots sub moa at 200 yards when I do things right. (That last bit is the hard part). All the matches I shot were on 200 yard ranges so I haven't used it much beyond that distance.

Synthetic stocks are cheap from Fred's. I'd buy one and try it.

You may lose accuracy going from bedded wood to non-bedded synthetic, though Fred's stocks are reportedly tight... still, you will want to bed that new stock, regardless.

According to Fred, synthetic is the way to go for accuracy, because you don't have any issues with wood changing according to the temperature or humidity.

As previous posters have noted, you'll still need to bed it.
