If you are familiar with the Beezid auction site, I have a question or two....

1) Would it work for firearms, ammo, accessories....?

2) For Beezid the price of the bids range from $.60-.90 depending on the number of bids purchased. What do you think the bid price range should be for firearms?

3) Given a .75 bid price, a $750 item would need to generate 1000 bids and sell for $10.00 in the auction to pay for the product. Would a site like that generate enough bids to pay for firearms?

Looking forward to hear what everone thinks about this kind of auction system for firearms?

Not so much an auction site, as it is a form of gambling. It is also a business model perfect for scamming, especially if the company shill bids.

I've seen Beezid before and it really does seem like it should be illegal.

Basically, for every $1 that an item goes up, the site owners get a huge amount of money.

The site makes like $10,000 on something that costs $100.

And the individual bidders loose way more money than what the item costs in real life.
Each bid costs money, and each time a bid is placed, the timer goes up like 10 seconds. So the auctions rarely end until all the bidders loose so much money bidding on an item that they stop bidding and the timer runs out, leaving an expensive item at a much lower price, yet thousands of dollars have been uselessly spent on bids for that one item.

Just watch a single auction, and you will wonder how humanity has any hope left for the future.
