for $40 I like this one:

one nice feature, is that the buckel is held on with Chicago screws, so you can chage it. It comes with a gold color one, wich would look fine with dockers, but I mostly wear it with jeans. So I took an old belt I had (of the same thickness) and cut off the buckle (brushed silver) and put it on the new belt. Now I can switch between the gold one and a silver one...

Disregard all other posts unless they recommend Rafter S Gunleather.

Cheaper than almost any of the others but still higher in quality. I've been wearing one of their belts every day since way before they ever "went public" and it shows almost no real wear...just honest "breaking in".

RAFTER S GUNLEATHER!!!!

Belts

Law enforcement friends put me onto G. William Davis belts many years ago. I've now outgrown two of these contoured jobs, and don't know how to find another.

Anyone out there know?

ps, I really like to shoot an S & W 38/44 Outdoorsman just like Elmer Kieth.

If you wear a 36 you may be in luck. I have one in good shape that I outgrew. Let me know if you are interested.

Tonerguy hasn't showed up yet? I'll speak for him, You cannot go wrong with any Tucker product. Do yourself a favor and check them out before you buy.

Frosty

36 is the last one I outgrew, too. Que sera.

Thanks

Wilderness Tactical??? ???

Oh yeah... now THIS oughta look good with a nice pair of Khakis or jeans... :scrutiny:

Heck, it'll even match the HiTechs and black SWAT ballcap you wear with your Business Casual attire!

I dress casual for work (khakis, button down shirts, jeans on occasion) and would like a belt that would look decent with both jeans and khakis (Docker type), but hold up under CCW use and abuse.

Might I suggest Gunner's Alley. They have Don Hume overstocks and factory seconds for $30 - $40. I know you said $100 was your max, but in reality, you could probably use at least 2 belts to match your work clothes, (black and brown) and this would allow you to do that. I appreciate quality, but I'm perfectly happy driving a Dodge 1500 even though there's a 3500 available at a higher price. It all depends on your needs and intended use.

I was in the same situation about a year ago, and I asked many people for their opinion on belts. The majority of people who claimed that they had tried just about every brand out there, recommended Alessi as the absolute best there is, regardless of price.
I bought one and have not regretted it. It's beautiful, extremely well made, and seems like it will last just about forever.
I'm very interested in trying a belt from this guy though.
