Beltman turnaround time?

Ordered a belt from the Beltman on the 31st of March, standard belt (aside from being just into the "pay extra for being a fattie" range).
Beltman FAQ lists 40 days as time from order to ship, do larger belts have a longer wait? Perhaps there is a rush to buy belts before they are banned?

I was OK with the concept of being charged before the belt was made, but I'm starting to feel a bit differently about it now. Also, I was really hoping to have a Beltman belt before I have my CCW permit, but I'm starting to wonder if that will be possible.

I haven't heard anything since my order, I did send an E-Mail, but no response as yet.
Has anyone received a belt from the Beltman recently? Is this normal?

I waited 42 days.

Jim politely answered my eager email 3 days before I got my belt.

I ordered mine the day after you and I haven't received mine either. If I don't receive it within a week or so, I'll email him. I figure that he's just seeing higher sales volume due to the same for handguns. I have to admit that I'm getting sick of using a 'regular' belt for my SuperTuck, though.

I got mine in only 11 or 12 days, but that was in 2007.

Got a response, he says my belt is 4 production days out, and should ship in 6.
So turnaround time is closer to 50 days from order to ship, it seems.

I would have waited as look as it took.

I love my belt. It holds a 5" 1911 in a Galco Royal Guard like it's not even there.

I'm willing to wait, based on the continual praise of the product. But if orders are backed up, it wouldn't be that hard to update the FAQ to reflect the backlog. I'm not asking for daily updates here, just a rough idea of when the product I've already paid for will arrive.
That package, by current estimate, will be racing my carry permit.

The belt is worth the wait. I have two of these belts, one 1 1/4 and one 1 1/2.

Until I got my first one, never knew what a difference a belt could make, whether I'm carrying or not.

Got mine yesterday, it seems to have been worth a 2 month wait.

I swapped the buckle for a roller immediately, worrying about dragging the leather through the stock one ... otherwise it is all I had hoped for.
