I bought a Wilderness Tactical "Frequent Flyer" belt, which has a plastic buckle. I bought it because I travel a lot and it's one less thing to take off when going through airport security. I like it.

In another THR thread, several people noted that their titanium rods and plates in their bodies do not set off metal detectors. Wilderness Tactical makes a belt called the Titanium Instructor Belt that has a titanium buckle. Has anyone tried it through security? What are the prospects for it not setting off the detector?

I travel a lot too. I wear a standard belt with metal buckle and have never had it set off the detector. Unless you're wearing some sort of big cowboy buckle I don't think you need anything special.
