I'm looking for help placing a value on two Benchmade Emerson knives I want to sell. I bought them both several years ago. I'm not a knife guy and don't remember what I paid. They are as follows

1. Benchmade marked emerson spec war cqc7. 3 1/4" non-serated blade grey steel. This one was carried some but never cut anything (I have a thing about not using a weapon as a tool) and never re-sharpened.

2.Benchmade Emerson LEFT handed. 4" half serrated black blade marked ATS-34. Never carried. I don't have the boxes.

Probably going to put them on-line or walk them around the gun show. I would like to know what's a fair price. I'm not a charity, but not a museum either.

Thanks in advance, Joe

Without the boxes you'll be annoyed by what you'll be offered by any dealer at the show. Expect less than $80 from a guy like me set up with a table full of collectable knives. From a collector you'd be able to get twice that.

I had one with the black blade and it was extremely used. I posted it and had a trade offer for a NEW Benchmade Axis lock that compared very favorably in all specs within 2 days. I made the trade b/c I had no use for the chisel ground blade on the emerson. These are sought after, and you will get a good price for them.
