Benelli Nova questions

I bought a used Benelli Nova yesterday and have a few questions? It is the black 12gauge version. The barrel is smooth bore but has rifle sights. It already has the mercury recoil reducer installed. I just have a few questions.

1) Who has tried the 2 round tube extender? I am assuming that it comes with a longer spring?

2) The barrel seems to be cylinder bore. I looked at Benelli’s web page and was not clear what other barrels are available other that the rifled version and a 26†vent rib.

3) What is the best source for buying Benelli accessories?

Yes---they come with a longer spring----both my Nova extentions(3-shot) came a longer spring and a barrel clamp. Bought from a local designated Benelli dealer----so not sure where you could find them in your area or online.

I have the 2 round extension on my Nova H2O with no problems in 500 rounds or so. I am assuming it is the 18.5 Cylinder Choked barrel with Rifle Sights. You can order any other barrel of your choice. I have always ordered the accessories from my local dealer, but you may also try Brownells and a few others online. I'm not sure of what other barrels are available other than listed.

You can order 24, 26, or 28 inch vent rib barrels, and 20 (maybe 18) inch rifle sighted barrels, and 24 in rifled barrels with rifle sights. Due to what Benelli charges for a new barrel it might be cheaper to buy a whole new gun though.
