Is there any word of a super black eagle 4 coming out on the horizon anytime soon?

is the super black eagle three more reliable than the super black eagle 2?

Since the SBE II was made for around 15 years or so, I doubt there will be a SBE 4 for quite a while.

The SBE 3 supposedly fixes the Benelli click. Don’t know about now but the first SBE 3’s shot high.

It’s a Bonelli click you mention the issue where it sometimes wouldn’t go into full battery if pushed down lightly or if the butt end of the stock hit some thing could take it out of battery?

The click occurs when the bolt doesn’t go into full battery. The click has never happened with my Affinity’s. I’ve never shot them in really cold weather or when very dirty, which I assume would be when the click is more likely to occur.

It's funny that you mention weather ,I've never thought of that. Mostly because I live in always sunny Texas.

So I take it you like the Frankie affinity

I am very seriously considering getting a Franchi Affinity 3 Turkey gun
They have one in bottomland camo for about 900 or less and then one with sub alpine and Sarah coating for about 1100 that has some extra features both of which would save me a bunch of money off of Bonelli I’m definitely not getting another Bonelli at this time although I do like them and I’ve had great experiences with them extremely reliable

I am still deciding between 20 and 12 gauge and would appreciate any further advice I can tell you this though I’m definitely not gonna buy the TSS for five to $15 a shot I’ll probably be sticking with Winchester long beards number fives

Interesting, I have a supernova and it also shoots high.

I have had five Benelli’s: Two Ethos (20 and 12 ga), a Supersport 12, a Super black eagle Il in 12, and a Montefeltro; still have the two Ethos and the Montefeltro. My shooting buddy has a Super Black eagle lll in 12. We have shot thousands and thousands of rounds and never a “click”. Must have happened with older versions because I have never witnessed it. Mine are all several years old and have gone bang every single time.

I have Brownings and Remingtons, too, but I think the Benelli are the best mass produced shotgun out there all things considered. They operate flawlessly and are a breeze to keep clean compared to a gas operated shotgun. YMMV

I like SBE's. I did buy a new Browning A5 thinking it shot like an old A5. Nope, it shoots like euro guns. I had to adjust the stock and still not crazy about it.

Thanks guys sorry I never finally added that I did buy the Franchi Affinity 3 Turkey Elite
So far it’s shot perfectly and the rifle type fiber optic sights on it are absolutely dead on
I would say it actually shoots better than my Bonelli super black eagle to with the sights although they are slightly slower to acquire then the more simple press speed in the middle and fiber-optic red beard in the front on the standard super black eagle 2

of course on the Franchi It has a built-in rail so I have the option of adding a red dot/eotech

but the gun shoots great and it’s pretty smooth and lightweight and easy to carry
The only thing I might regret is getting 3 inch versus a 3.5 inch which I’m used to with the SBE2
Only because the Winchester long beard 3 inch turkey Ammo actually measures A little over 3 inches which is an idiosyncrasies Winchester MUST FIX
Because for whatever stupid reason they made this awesome long beard ammo slightly oversized with the plastic in the front which can cause Cycling issues and some guns
Word to the wise

This did not actually jam the gun but I could see it as a potentiality
