I wonder of this will still stand after review by the 9th. The Supremes will probably in my opinion finally rule on this. I think mag capacity and ammo was also addressed.

Maybe SCOTUS will take the case sometime in the next 4 years. What happened to "Rights delayed are rights denied"?

Judge Benitez did this over a week ago with regard to the magazines and Cali appealed back to the 9th immediately. However, the 9th is not even following their own rules in order to make sure Cali can keep its ban.

Not unless the Ninth Circuit upholds the decision. In that case a Washington plaintiff would have a very strong basis to challenge Washington's statute.

What speaks wonders to me is that Benitez manages to keep writing his opinions in a level-headed and calm way, despite the fact that he's bascially had to write the same opinion over and over again.
