Beretta .32 ACP TomCat vs. Walther .32ACP PP model-

Greeting's All-

While enjoying the threads on the Walther .32ACP PP
model, as well as the Bersa Thunder .380 ACP I had a
thought of comparing the .32 ACP Walther PP model
against a Beretta .32 ACP TomCat. Forget about the
fact that the little Beretta is smaller; but considering
all other factors such as reliability, accuracy, and even
craftsmanship which do you believe is the better gun?
The Beretta TomCat or the PP model from Walther.

I have always been a fan of Walther's; especially the
German (Manchurin/French) guns; but I can't get use
to the tiny Beretta TomCat. Is that natural, or am I
missing something?

Both the Beretta and Walther are top-quality guns, but for self-defense the .32 ACP cartridge requires careful, precise bullet placement to insure an attack doesn't continue. In this context the Walther is a better choice. The Beretta's only advantage is its small size. It should be noted that the company does offer other models that are closer in size to the Walther, and might be a better option then the Tomcat.
