I have admired Beretta shotguns for years and would love to have one of their over/unders. But, am I alone in my disappointment with the stocks? When I shoulder one, the gun is pointing up in the air so much that it would shoot 3 feet high. And, the wood looks like low grade lumber. I cannot describe how much I want one in 20 gauge for quail, but the fit and appearance make me run the other way.

Beretta saves the good wood for grades EL on up.

This 20/28 combo has some better than normal wood, and with the 28 ga. barrel set with , is a steal on a fine quail gun!

I've found that for most people, if Berettas don't fit you, Brownings will, and vice versa.

I agree with you on the stock looks. But for me the Beretta shoots a little low with the factory stock. I put a different Beretta stock with and adjustable comb on my 12 gauge SP1. To me the Beretta 20 gauge guns are too small, thin, and light for my uses. I shoot Beretta in 12 gauge and Browning Citori in 20 gauge.
