I have several that I use for range use and have never had any problems of any kind with them. I don't use them for carry, but all of mine have been 100% reliable.
Yup same here, I have two that I use in my 92FSCenturion that have been and 100% reliable. Slide doesent always lock back after the last round but thats no biggie.
I was just going to post a question about this. Cheaper than dirt has them for like $15 IIRC.
Edit: Checked the website and they are listed at $17. They also have some 'eagle' SS 17 round ones. Anyone know what these are like? I assume they fit flush. Get two more rounds but they're stainless...hmmm.
I got six of the Asian (Taiwan) mags for range use and so far they have been fine for that. A couple of them need a little extra push to seat fully and occasionally they'll fail to lock my slide back. Also the black paint on the bases scratches off very easily.
That said, I think they are a great deal.
I have no personal experience with the "eagles" but IIRC I have heard more than a few negative comments about them.
I really think that if you are looking at "cheap" mags for the Beretta the Asian mags will be hard to beat.
I do agree with B27 about the paint. These are NOT Beretta Factory mags by any stretch of the imagination but mine function fine and (after replacing the springs) I have NO problem using them for CCW. In fact, if I DO carry the Beretta it will have one of my "Asian" 15-rounders in it.
I get the feeling though that ALL "Asian" mags may not be equal. The first one I got seemed PERFECT (although a little thinner metal than the Beretta Factory - as well as a weaker spring). My next two seemed to have an inferior paint job compared to the first one but they function just fine.
I have a couple of these mags I got through Gunbroker. Haven't had a problem with them at all. My 92FS is my HD gun, for which I use Beretta factory mags. Even though I never had a problem with the Asian Military mags, I just feel better with the Beretta mags.
I have two of the Asian 15 round mags for my 92D. They have never failed to feed, but frequently fail to hold the slide back after the last round. Ater reading this post, maybe I should replace the springs.
