Beretta 92f question?

I'am looking at an italian made beretta 92f online the ad says it may have been refinished the guns looks nicely blued though. I noticed that in the pics of the gun on the left side of the slide theres the bright red dot thats visible when the safety in in the off position? However the red dot is not on the right side of the slide. My question is isn't there suposed to be a red dot on BOTH sides of the slide? Every beretta 92 I've seen has them on both sides.

Is it that the Italian made guns only had the red dot on one side of the slide maybe? I figure this may be proof the gun was in fact reblued possibly. I don't mind if it was by the way. Last off how can I put a red dot on the other side of the slide? Is there any kind of paint pen like whats used for models? This a safety feature ofcourse. Thanks for any help.

Back when I had a Beretta 8045, I accidentally removed the red dot trying to clean some crud out of the recesses of the right side paddle cutout in the slide. It took all of one trip to a local hobby/craft store to spend about $2.00 on a little bottle of Testors primer and a light brick red color. Then I took a pointy toothpick and lightly smashed it in the safety dot impression until the tip could sweep the entire depression in one rotation. Shake primer. Lightly dip toothpick. Apply primer until it evenly sweeps the dot depression. Make another toothpick using the off side safety dot depression. Wait two hours. Shake red. Apply red in same manner. Color match the off side. The paint job never came off and looked factory new. The trick is to use the primer on a Bruniton finished pistol to help the paint stick better. It should work okay on a blued one too.
