I recently acquired a Beretta 96 on a trade, as I said it is a Centurion, sa/da model. I believe that it is a police trade in gun based on the wear locations on the finish. Im going to replace the main springs as insurance, but I can not seem to find a replacement source for a recoil spring guide rod. Ive been told that the full size guide rod will not fit and Numrich does not have the part in stock. Anyone else have an inside line on where I might find one?
