I have a Beretta 390 that doesn't have a magazine cutoff. I load one into the chamber and two into the magazine tube, but must push a button near the end of the feed ramp (beneath the gun) in order for the rounds in the tube to be ready for the next shot. It seems only two rounds are capable of being fired "automatically", then the button must be pressed again to load the next. What the heck kind of a setup is this???
I wrote to Beretta and asked for a manual as I bought this shotgun at a local Pawn Shop. It appeared to have had little use. Perhaps the previous owner was equally perplexed by this "FEATURE". It's not like I need the third shot very often, but having to find and press the button removes the feeling that I have a 3 shot auto...
Do any of you know what the heck is going on with this?
Perplexed!
