Tell me about the Beretta Bobcat. How many rounds do you have through yours. Have you had one break. Do you think this gun would last 60,000 rounds?

I have one. For it's small size, it's very accurate. Very minimal amount of moving parts, so less to break. Mine is Inox, so I would assume quite durable. Keep it clean and don't limp-wrist it.

Couldn't tell you how many rounds through it, less than 1000. Never had problems though.

Both my parents have these, and while they both love them to death... I cant stand them.

The odd magazine release just kills me. Its on the lower portion of the grip, about where a pinky would rest for a right handed shooter. That, combined with these tiny blade sights... they shoot straight... but it takes awhile to get into a "groove". Shooting them Ive had a passle of FTF, but thats probably just the crappy 22LR ammo I was using.

Overall, my parents love them. And for all their claims about being carry guns, their back lawn shooters. Entertaining at minimum.

I recently bought an older high polish blue, wood grip Bobcat 22...
I put about 200 rounds through it on its first range trip. Zero failures, and good accuracy. I was using good quality ammo...all CCI in several flavors.
Don't see how a pinky could hit the mag release, unless one has unusually long pinkies.
I had a newer matte finish Bobcat a few years ago. It also functioned perfectly...part of the reason I wanted another one. I used to bounce pop cans at 25yds with that one.
With the Bobcat I just bought, I was hitting 10" steel plates at 25yds.

I have had one for several years. I have many thousands of rounds through it. The only problem I have is that it only likes certain brands of ammo. It is very accurate, but I have many jams with it. I wouldn't use it as a self defense gun, but it is definately a fun gun.

I carried one for a couple of years, but never shot it that much.

Bumped up to this and feel much better armed.

A bobcat was my daughter’s first gun. When she was ten, we went shopping for a gun.
It was the only gun she could reach the trigger on so we bought it. We have had it ever
since, about ten years now. We had it out yesterday. It still runs well.

It’s on my never sell list. :)
