I just got myself a new Beretta storm carbine in 9mm. So far i've only been able to use an indoor ( max 25 yd. ) range, and have only put 200 rds. through it, but this baby is fun to shoot. I have had one problem though, in the first 200 rds, i had 2 jam-ups. I think that this may be due to the magazines being new and overly stiff, maybe a mis-seated round coming off the magazine, or some overlooked dirt in the chamber, or something else i can't think of right now.
In both cases i had only to drop the magazine and pull back on the charging handle to clear the jam, reseated the mag, and continue to fire. Both jams happened with many rounds between them. Any other storm owners out there that have had a similar problem, or heard of it happening often with this make & model, and can give me some feedback on this?

I have the forty cal. and I've only had one malfuntion so far, the round didn't eject all the way, jamming up the bolt, no real big deal. other than that its been a blast to shoot and the farthest I've been able to shoot is 50 yards so, I'm in a similar boat as you.

i came away with five 15 rd. mags for the thing when i bought it. Dealer traded me two of them for the two10-rd mags that came with the gun, and threw in three more to help close the deal. I figure i'll have firepower to spare for a while, lol. Anyway, have you or your buddy had any jamming problems to report, or heard of any other storm owners that have? thanks!

Well, I've fired 300-500 rounds with him, and he's fired at least that many alone, and I don't remember any problem except with a crappy mag he had that wouldn't stay in.
