Hello,
I just bought Beretta CX4 Storm rifle.
Have couple of questions.
I found some small piece of plastics sticking out of front of the stock.
It rattlers a little. In the manual it said it is front rail. but I cannot figure out how to extract it.
Second how to unscrew sling post? I tried by using small screwdriver but feared to push hard.
Also everywhere I checked about that riffle it should come with one small rail for side. My don't have it
I wrote to the seller but have no respond yet.

Funny thing is, Ive handled several CXs and never noticed it was there. Does it spring out if you push in the sling mount?
I doubt the sling mount is meant to be removeable. I would call Beretta for an owners manual. They should send you one for free or give you a link to download it.

They will probably send (or sell) you the side rail too.

Congrats on the new CX4, nice color.

I can tell you that when I bought my CX4 new a few years ago, it did not come with any additional side rails. It did come with one butt stock extension piece and a tool for adjusting the sights.

I did buy a side rail piece later on for mounting a light. The side mount works better for the light I bought, so I don’t use the slide out rail. It was a hand reaching the switch situation.

Glad I could help ya. You now have one of the great pcc's, and you will love its versatility and accuracy. As far as I am concerned it is arguably, the best in home defense weaponry.

I never found the pull-out rail to be useful. It's probably strong/durable but it's not super steady. The gun works fine and mine was reliable. Mine wasn't a tack driver but good enough for plinking or defensive use. I'm not crazy about the front & side rails. You can get a small one that screws on I think but mine had this one. IIrc I ordered mine from Beretta but it's the same rail. It's also probably sturdy (mine never broke) but there's a lot of play in it meaning if you use if for a VFG or bipod it will flex a fair amount.
