Beretta F92

Been told that the F92 has a magazine problem in that they weaken after a short period of time when used as a carry weapon with the magazine fully loaded for long periods of time. Any truth to this??

Not a lick of truth if you are talking about factory magazines,MDS magazines or MecGar magazines.I cannot speak to the cheap off-name brands.I have magazines that stay loaded all the time and have never had a problem with them.A spring likes to be under pressure.It's the constant springing that wears out a spring.Not just sitting around waiting.

My oldest 92 mag is 15 years old and it still functions as the day it was new...with original parts

I have been using the same three factory mags for years and they are good to go every time I have gone to the range. I never buy the cheap knock off mags for the 92, they are all junk that I would not trust my life to.
