Beretta magazines in XD 45 magazines

Does anyone know if Beretta magazines will work in the XD 45's? I know the 9mm ones do, but I'm thinking of getting a 45 and can't have the XD's 13 rounders (NY still has pre and post ban magazine limits).

Any metal mag should work w/ only a minor mod to the mag to lock into place...I'm just not sure which 45 mags will work

Ya lost me here... in Cali they automatically come with 10 rounders (our legal max).

Where could you buy an XD with 13 rounders if 13 rounders are not legal?

He's just trying to convert some preban mags to work in a xd45. Before xd9's were around they were called HS2000's. This was before the federal ban expired so people converted other preban mags(sig226, beretta 9mm, s&w model 59) to work in the HS2000. He's trying to do the same but with preban mags in 45acp.

PS...13 rounds / hi-cap mags are available in this state but as LE mags. Available w/ proper credentials

if you're looking for the 10 rounders (in a 13 rounder size) you can get them directly from Springfield for about $26 apiece. Midwayusa has them as well.

Don't know about Berettas, but I know that the ParaOrd mags won't fit. The angle where it tapers to a single stack is different. Aren't the Beretta 8045 mags a smaller capacity anyway?
