Anyone have any experience with various aftermarket grips; particularly the ebay choices?

eBay from Thailand or nearby? I bought a set of checkered wood grip panels years ago for my CZ75 PCR through eBay and I was happy with what came across the ocean.

For my particular Beretta 81BB, I chose a pair of G-10 grips since G-10 can be made thinner than wood and not split or crack. But if you need hand filling grips wood certainly is a good way to go.

I’m looking for attractive hardwood like tallballs Altamont grips. A dressed up factory look.

I’ve got S&W K and M1911 eBay grips. Like them, but looking for something a little “dressier”.
My Italian prison import just screams for it. It’s a “Sunday go to meeting” or “Barbecue” gun.

Black plastic grips look a little to “SWAT” or spartan for my use.
Pics preferably!

I've bought about four pairs of Thai grips from Ebay. I've liked them in general, but the QC is so-so. A couple of them needed some sanding or filing to fit properly.
