Anyone have this experience with a NEOS? Getting ready to send this NEOS back to the factory. Started failure to fire once every 50 rounds when new, now about 3000-4000 rounds later, FTF every 5 rounds or so. Trigger clicks and moves the transfer bar, but sear will not release the firing pin. If you move the slide counter-clockwise, it will fire. Moving the slide clockwise causes it not to fire. This gun feeds as well as any and is accurate enough, trigger being a little stiff. Beretta customer service is no help. I have tried lots of things, but I believe the slide is worn out. There is a lot of wear on it, but I would think 10,000 rounds or more would not cause excessive wear.

I've got at least 5000 rounds on mine. Sorry, I don't count but sort of figure by how many bricks I buy.
Never had a problem with it. Once in a while I get a FTFire using Thunder Thuds. Otherwise rock solid.
I would think a .22 with the Beretta name on it would last past your grand childeren lifetimes.
What was the reaction of the service guys?

Service guys said to send it in. Guess I'll do that - it should be under warranty. Thanks for the reply.

This is the first time I've heard of this problem with a Neos. Something definitely sounds like it needs service. I don't keep good count either, but I'd imagine I've got at least a couple thousand rounds through my Neos. I don't see any sign of the slide being any looser than the day I bought it.

Old lady has put at least 15k through hers, I clean it once a year at the end of the shooting season out of spite and it keeps running.

Mine started doubling and tripling after just over 1000 rounds. Went back to the factory, and a couple thousand rounds later I started getting failures to fire. I traded it in.

Update Beretta NEOS

I sent it back to the factory on Oct 25 and got it back Sept. 5. Like 10-days including shipping. They replaced the trigger, transfer bar, sear, and complete slide - no charge. BTW, the new slide is machined differently inside. This thing now shoots better than ever and I am well pleased. Hopefully, I can put another few thousand rounds through it before it needs rebuilding again.
