Hey Everybody,
I'm looking to upgrade my Beretta 92FS, nothing special or fancy, just a new trigger, hammer, and mag release. I want a blued steel trigger to replace the polymer one, a blued metal mag release (extended or not), and the Elite II lightweight hammer. The thing is, Berettausa.com is out of the hammers (29.99) and I called about the steel triggers, and they said they no longer manufacture them, but I could get a plastic one if I wanted. Brownell's has the triggers for about 5-6 bucks, but they're out of stock, and since Beretta discontinued the steel trigger, I doubt they'll get them again. I found a steel trigger on gunbroker for $50, and after seeing them on brownell's for $6, I'm just not ready to pay the extra 900%. I found an Elite II hammer on gunbroker, too, but it was also $50. The only magazine releases I have found are either polymer or extended stainless steel, which if I find nothing else, I'll settle with SS. Does anyone know of any gun parts websites that may carry these items? Midway doesn't, Brownell's doesn't. Any other good gun parts websites I don't know about?

Any help is appreciated
Thanks,

-Nick

Dave Olhasso sells the skeletonized triggers and a few parts. Google his name and you'll find his website.

I feel your pain. One would think it would be very simple to obtain parts for mass produced and circulated firearms, one should think again. I was always told buy a weapon that is in common use instead of more obscure ones, so that there will be plenty of parts available. Well the trouble with that line of logic is that, everyone and their uncle will ALSO be buying parts for these weapons. I have seen it with M-14 parts,(try getting an M-14 GI extractor) M1 Garand parts, 1903 Spring field parts, even 1911 parts, AR-15 parts, Smith & Wesson revolver parts, and now with Beretta 92s. You would think, that with all the weapons made of these models, parts would not be a problem. Think again. It truly is discouraging.

That's very true, Oceans. And when you can find parts, (usually from private sellers, not distributors) the mark-up is so ridiculously high that it's sometimes not even worth buying the part.
