Quite a few years ago I had a Beretta 950, .25 acp which developed some kind of serious problem but honestly, right now I don't remember exactly what it was. I sent it to Beretta, I'm pretty certain on my own dime, but Beretta checked it out and replaced the entire pistol with a new one and shipped it back, probably through my local dealer if I recall. They had not yet dropped the 950 from production at that time but there was no quibbling from Beretta about repairs, or charges or anything. The replaced the firearm without question. I don't understand the vagaries of customer service. I've always been weirdly attracted to the Tomcat but it serves no need for me and I've read enough problem stories that I have never purchased, nor would I. Even Beretta did not recommend all .32 ammo for them. That tells me something right there.
