Well, I took my new Bersa 380 duotone to the range today for the first time. Checked it all over and cleaned the barrel before first test firing it. I love the ease of break down. The safety/decocker lever was *very* stiff but I thought it might loosen up with use. It has a nice feel to it and shoots pretty good (although a little low and to the left but I'll worry about sight adjustments later). After shooting a box through it, the safety/decocker lever just kept getting stiffer. Now it just will not release at all. I actually had to break it down the last time to get it to release. I see no obvious problems. It is well lubricated, but stiff to the point of unusable. The gun works fine as long as you don't need to or want to use the safety or decocker, but........ that's still unacceptable. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas? Trade it back with the dealer for another one? Ala Dan, any thoughts? I know you sold a bunch of these. Thanks.
