The bersa thunder 9 ultra carry pro has caught my eye but I haven't seen one in person has anyone compared one to the xdsc. I have the xdsc and it's a great gun but I don't like the thick square grip, i assume the bersa is about the same thickness but the dimensions online are at the largest point which is the ambi safety. Can anyone tell me the thickness of the grip.

The XDSC is a Great sidearm but the Bersa that i held felt ALOT slimmer, i sold off my XDSC because it was just to bulky for "me" but it was 100% reliable and accurate.

I agree mine is reliable and accurate too, and I'm looking to replace it for the same reason. I've seen the specs on the bersa and it does say 1.4" but it looks like the safety may be the reason why it's so thick. Looks like it has a comfortable grip just wish I could find one locally.

The Bersa Thunder 9UC Pro may seem chunky to CCW but with a good holster and a good belt it can be pulled off very comfortably. IMO there is no better combo of firepower and "compactness" (it's a word now :p) in a hammer fired DA/SA on the market for a great price. But, like anything, it might be best if you could give one a test drive.

Am I biased? Sure am. But if I didn't feel secure with my decision I wouldn't trust the UC9 as an option.
