Bersa Thunder ...frame issues?

Any of the alloy frame Thunders. Have come across some posts here and there about frame cracks, and I wondered if it was a wide spread issue. My wife has a new Thunder .380 for SD/bedside/camping, so far it's been nearly flawless (after break-in).

Owned a few Thunder 380s. No issue with cracking frames.

However some are having problems with the heavier calibers.

Never heard of a BERSA .380 frame cracking, definitely not a widespread issue if it is an issue at all. I didn't see any BT.380's with cracked frames in the link either. No need to worry.

I've put many rounds through my UC9 Pro and it's just fine. No slop, no cracks....

I'm aware of many who have put thousands of trouble-free rounds through their Bersa Thunders and so far have only read about a couple frame issues.

Look around long enough and you'll find every brand has experienced failures. If we're going to write off a brand due to a very few reported failures, then Glock would be considered hand grenades by now.

I sincerely doubt frame breakage is typical or systemic among the Bersa brand.
