When I had the Sig-ness one of my grail guns was a P210. It still is.
Back then it was out of my price range.
But now, with the introduction of the Sig 210A, I think I can afford a $1500 gun. (It gets great reviews; I have a couple of safe queens that will make the ultimate sacrifice; and it will be my most expensive purchase.)
But as I was sipping my late-night single malt, I began to wonder what other great 9s were similar in terms of fit and finish, operation, accuracy, joy of owning one, and in that price range.
This is strictly a range gun. I won't carry it. Won't put it in the nightstand. Won't throw it in the tackle or tool box. It's to shoot and savor.
I've got a BHP that's well tuned; Colt 9mm competition, Sig 220, Walther P5, and a Luger, so those are off the table.
Wondering what else I could consider.....Sig, S&W, Walther, other? I don't want plastic as I have enough good ones in polymer. Wadda ya think?
