Looking to buy a .357 Mag, Marlin Cowboy, 20" octagon barrel. Best ammo for hog hunting and self defense ? Want to make sure an over the factory load can do the job.Also wanting to make sure it can feed well in the Marlin.

here is some to try: Remington 180 grain and the federal 158 grain flat point. I think Federal makes a 180 grain, but I would stick with flat points. I handload and that is what I use
