Best adjustable sights for S&W?

I need a new set for my 617 for target competition. The rear sight blade is too short, so I'm thinking about just replacing the whole rear sight. Any suggestions?

I can highly recommend the replacement blade from Jack Weigand. It resembles a Bo-Mar from the rear.

Ah, yes. Weigand Combat. I didn't think of him. I have bought some of his parts before and they are excellent quality. Thanks for the reminder.

I've been replacing both Colt and Smith & Wesson rear sights with those from Millett for decades. They're much more finely adjustable.

I recently tried a couple of Millett sights with white outline blades. I like the strong white vertical line, which is somewhat similar to the rear of the issue sights on SIG pistols, but the notches on the white outline blades are shallower than on the all-black "target" blades and I've been finding them slow. I think I'm used to seeing more of the front blade in the notch. Anyone else notice this? (BTW, I thought I was dreaming, but found the specs on the Millett website and the target notches are indeed deeper.)
