Best DPMS LR 308 / SR25 Pattern 20 Round Magazines

I have a Brownells BRN-10A that came with a Brownells 20 Round mag and also have a couple of Brownells 308 Waffle mags. Both are no longer made. Any recommendations on a metal (steel or aluminum) mags of the DPMS or SR25 Pattern. I do not want to go with polymer mags (PMAG) as it’s a retro piece. Checked all the dealers and all had same ones. With minor price differences. Heard negative comments about PRO MAGS. Thanks. Bedfordtec

Would an M-14 magazine work if you removed the rear lug and cut a hole for the new latch?

G3 mags are probably a non-starter, but FAL might be possible to convert too.

D&H are my first choice, and then pmags
The D&H are a little heavy, but they are 100% reliable.

I will second the D&H mags.... both versions have worked well for me.
I would suggest taking them apart and DriFilm lubing the interior of the body, the spring and the follower. The "packing" oil can be sticky.

Don't be surprised if you have to try a few to find which work best for your rifle.
As an example, the Brownells 308 mags didn't work in any of my PSA PA10's and PA65's... no matter what I did.
