I just bought a new CZ 75 B Stainless and would like some opinions on the best carry position and holster you feel is the best for you.
All input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Floydster

CCW? What do you like, IWB, OWB, shoulder? High Noon Holsters makes some very nice stuff. I use a Bianchi M-100 clip on IWB right now, not bad for under $50. If you'r in a place that is cold enough to wear jackets a lot, a good pancake rig would work OK. There are lots of options, what do you want to do with the sidearm?

I use a Galco Summer Comfort model number SUM248. Its supposed to fit a Sig-Sauer P-226 but it fits my 75B like it was made for it. 62.89 plus tax.

Save yourself some time & avoid a cheap nylon holster

armoredman,
It would be CCW, and prefer OWB. I live in Minn. so lose clothing is always a must, winter or summer.
Am taking the multi state CCW class next month and after that an extended
motorcycle trip.
Thanks for the response.

The CZ is much thicker in the grip area and is a much heavier gun but I carry a commander sized 1911 in a Rafter S and it is very comfortable. http://www.raftersgunleather.com/Holsters.htm

With the heavier grip area you also may want to take a look at something that cants the gun forward a little.

HBE makes quite a few holsters for the CZ:

I had a friend that carried his CZ in a Fobus. He liked it but said it was hard on the finish.

If you like Kydex, which is fast on the draw with good retention I would take a hard look at Blade Tech. I have several of their holsters for playing the games and they ride nice and are comfortable.

Take Care

Spoken like a true die-hard nudist floydster! :p

Of course that renders the whole OWB vs. IWB question moot

Seriously, I've been looking for a good holster too - for my soon-to-arrive PO-1 (Correia! When? When? :D )

I don't carry my 75B, but I do compete with it. I use an OWB Fobus roto-holster that fits nicely. It can be carried strong side OR cross draw. Tilt is adjustable. Cheap.

P.S. Mine held the CZ a little tighter than I liked for a fast draw. I drilled out the rivet next to the retainer section, and put in a small machine screw, spring and nut and made it adjustable.

V, the PO1s that were ordered in the first run arrived yesterday, and went out yesterday, and will be going out today to your FFLs. The P01s that were ordered in the next week haven't gotten here yet.

This is my CZ85C in a FIST #45 Belt Slide with mag holder attached. FYI the 85 has the same dimensions as the 75. This is an IWB holster and, for me, it is a great performer. A good, stiff gun belt is really necessary as this combo is somewhat heavy. With a good belt it works like a dream.
