I've always been a big fan of Don Hume's J.I.T. belt slide holster (OWB) for my J-frames. I'm using one these days even. I suspect an LCR would fit one for a J-frame. You can find them on E-bay or Amazon for about $35.00 or so.

My wife's LCRx absolutely won't seat all the way down into my Azula leather pocket holster built for J-frames. But my Charter Arms Undercoverette fits perfectly into a J-frame leather holster.
It has to do with the frame and trigger guard proportions of the LCR vs. a J-frame.

You might be right. I had an LCR at one time, and I think it worked in a J.I.T. but I can't swear to it now. I might have bought something else for it I don't remember. But then I don't remember much about the gun. It went away quickly.
I just checked Don Hume's website, and they do make a J.I.T. for the LCR in two barrel lengths. About 30 Bucks.
