I just picked up a pristine Bauer 25 acp (Baby Browning clone) cheap ($150). The pistol only has one mag and I would like to pickup a spare. I have located three possible options. First, a gently used factory Bauer mag. Second, new chrome plated, round follower PSA mag made by Mec-gar. Lastly, a new Triple K mag.

Any thoughts and experiences on these options would be greatly appreciated.

I would go with either the used Bauer mag or the new PSA mag. Never saw all that many Bauers for sale back way when but I did eventually find a Baby Browning that satisfied my craving for a miniature .25 auto.

Photosaurus, I would post a pic if I could but its still at the gun store until I get it on to my pistol permit. The joy of living on N.Y. :(

That's a good price, assuming it is indeed pristine. I'd think they would be more in NY than here in the South.

I have one I paid a bit less than twice that for in 2015, and that was the going rate. Mine's in near-near shape, too. I only took it out once, and had several failures, most involving FT-Feed issues. Later, at home, I was handling it, and noticed that, when I would insert the magazine, it didn't always fully seat, but would still make a click and provided a "notch" feel, like it was seating. I think that may have been part or all of the issue, that I wasn't fully seating the magazine because it would feel like it was being seated before it actually was.

Nothing to add but... Nice Score! I've always been fond of the Bauers... I don't know why, but I am... cool little pistol!

I have a Bauer and one of the first things I did was buy a couple PSA magazines (and a titanium firing pin) for the Baby Browning. My original Bauer magazine has weak springs and thin metal - Kept, but I've not used it.
