I will be visiting the USA in a few weeks and thought I'd pick up a new single stage press while I'm over there seeing that reloading gear is so much more expensive here in Australia. I'm looking any for tips on finding the cheapest place to buy an RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme. I've seen some good prices on ebay but I'm sure there are other retailers around that can do better. Anybody got any suggestions or hot tips for me? And please refrain from trying to convince me to buy another model press - my eyes will start to bleed if I have to read one more "which press is best" thread.

I'll be there for two months virtually living in the car and crisscrossing the country for work. At this stage I think the only states I wont be getting close to are Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, the Dakotas, Minnesota ,South Florida, South Texas, Alaska and Hawaii. That being said, I'm already doing so much driving that I'm more than happy to schedule a meeting somewhere else if it also means I can score a bargain on a press.

Cabela's in Portland Maine

I bought mine there last month on my way through. I am very please with it.

You might check to see if any of the discount on-line stores have a brick and mortar facility that you could swing by. Cabela's, Bass Pro, Gander are all nice, but they ARE retail stores and have a tendency, at least here in central FL to sell at retail, or in the case of Gander, at retail PLUS.......

Check the Walmarts in the western states. I just picked up a RC Supreme for $117 at our store a few days ago.

boy at $117 i would buy another one... my old one, I have had for about 30 yrs... still looks and works like new.... It just keeps making quality loads... but there is room on my bench for one more....

Go to cabelas.com and find a store near where you will be. You can order online and have it delivered to a store for you. Just showing up at a store could be hit or miss (they might not have any in stock).

Just don't look at the Forster co-ax while you are there, or you'll end up paying more money than you wanted to (and getting a co-ax instead). ;^)

If you go anywhere near Spokane Washington check out the White Elephant, last I checked we had a couple still marked $99.99 in the back.
