Alternately, Accuracy Systems is a decent outfit. I use their adjustable gas block. I wouldn't suggest the adjustable block to a new guy, but they do offer substitute barrels and gas blocks. Chatting with them could be helpful.
Clark Custom Guns is another useful group of folks. I purchased a Hogue Overmold stock from them and they offer various services for the Mini-14. They've been in business forever and I've not heard any bad things about them. I'm sure they could help if you choose to contact them.
