Primary Arms Advanced dot is by far the best for the money. Basically a Holosun with a useable warranty and a great company to back it up.
I have a StrikeFire on my AR. The StrikeFire weighs about twice as much as the Romeo5 (11 oz vs. 6 oz), but the glass is also about twice as clear. The red-tinted lens on the Romeo5 puts a slight bluish hue on everything. Not a huge deal, but noticeable. You are correct. It is a Strikefire 2, not a strike Eagle. I just got them confused.
I think I’ve narrowed it down to the Primary Arms advanced micro dot (149.99) or the Sig Romeo 5 (134.99). Any strong opinions about either one over the other? I was going to possibly go with TRS-25, but I read about a few problems with new ones. LGS recommended Vortex Strikefire 2, and had them for around $150
