I just put a 300 together (I know, old news) anyway, time to chop the stock down for my pathetically short arms (11 7/8 pull).

I have ready access to a Decelorator, Limb Saver, or an XCoil pad.

Any expirience with these?

Of course they all say "more recoil reducing power than any other pad" Ya right! I hate marketers.

Anyway. Which do you guys use?

as i understand it (NOT an expert)

the Pachmyr(sp?) Decellorator was king of the pads for a number years, ie was the best around.

then the Kick-eez and Limbsaver pads came along and these two will soak up more than the pachmyr.

never heard of XCoil so no comment there.

i'd say go with the Limbsaver

I'm still partial to Decellorator.

Since I prefer these on shotguns, I'm used to the fit and feel.
I personally like the way this one does as I mount gun to face...slides into my pocket best.
[that similar across platforms thingy]

P.A.S.T makes great products. I have both the Vest for shooting clay birds and the Shoulder Pad only, attaches to body akin to a shoulder holster.

The P.A.S.T shoulder pad - everyone should have, great for extended load testings of rifle and shotgun loads. Can be worn under a shirt, great for tyros, folks getting over surgies, and anytime recoil is needing to be reduced.
