(Not picking on Y’all, just providing a sample. I couldn’t quote anymore individuals.)
Like all activities, a huge portion of its enjoyment, or lack there of, resides in the humans one comes in contact with.
I, too, have issues with the behavior of humans, because oftentimes I cannot fix them, despite my actual attempts. I don’t have any firearms Personal Irritants. I can repair/have repaired, adjust, modify, and customize a firearm. Some humans just can’t be fixed. (Can’t recycle them early either...)
Well, we’re all in this together, keep calm, keep an eye out and keep your stick on the ice!
I like to be almost done shooting when the second person gets to the outdoor range. It pays to be an early riser. One of my best days on the range in the last few months I was the only one shooting with two RSOs. I was fortunate that I was through shooting when other people showed up to shoot.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings, regardless of the weather, are my current favorite times.I have learned to love bad weather at the outdoor ranges. I check the reports all the time before I go. Love the COLD, keeps the range empty. Love the Rain etc.

Exactly. The best days are cold days early when everybody else is waiting on it to get warmer. I like to shoot like I hunt.
So, for you Texas folk, 50 degrees and sunny?
I'm sure north texas can get chilly. I agree I like the times when others won't be around but I shoot out on public land that a lot of people dont know about. Just enough to leave some trash for me to pick up...
We grew up in different countries, and different times. Here, in my generation, 'Bogarting' referred to taking a very, very, long hit on a joint offered to one. Ref; "Hey, man, don't Bogart that whole joint!"Seeing/hearing someone Bogart a revolver cylinder.
By far the biggest. And while I am more polite than want to be the first time, IF there is a second time, I am not so polite. I have a brother-in-law I will not shoot with after he swiped me twice; the first time safety off, finger on trigger. I was NOT polite to him then. He tried to laugh it off. I was really unpolite the second time, and I quote, "Do that again and you'll be face to face with a .45 caliber hole!" I left before one of us got hurt. I do not like guns pointed at me. (and yes, I have worked in shops, and yes, I was polite, but firm, then.)1. Being swept.
HAHAHAHA! Yeah, there's a bit of a difference there. We grew up in different countries, and different times. Here, in my generation, 'Bogarting' referred to taking a very, very, long hit on a joint offered to one. Ref; "Hey, man, don't Bogart that whole joint!"
Leaving shot up target's up, shot up brass everywhere, a lot of cussing and blaming the gun. I have my own range.
Reminds me of a group of young men who were shooting a tire from one of those very large Industrial vehicles, and a huge chuck of said tire sailed right past them well over 200 yards...General irresponsible behavior, coupled with YouTube videos of people blowing stuff up.
it’s just redneckery that makes us all look bad.

Yes, but I imagine that using the general term "idiot" is considerably more acceptable on a public forum than using the specific terminology that the maker of a new mark used about himself right after committing the OOPS.... People calling the love marks on my 1911’s “idiot scratches”.
I may be an idiot, but you’re not qualified to judge.
Geeeeeeez! Just reading that was painful for me ... people actually do that?... I cringe when a firearm is dragged or raked across a concrete shooting bench ...
