Binding trigger

My Smith and Wesson 1911's trigger is binding. It did it a few times so I disassembled it and gave it a good cleaning. After cleaning it I took it to the range and it did it again twice out of 100 rounds. The trigger just stops, I have to release it and pull it again. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Probably a real high hand hold and the grip safety interfering with the trigger pull due to insufficient grip safety travel.

You can check that by putting several layers, maybe 5 or 6, of masking tape on the grip safety, just on the safety, and see if it still binds.
