For those of you looking for a grip adapter for a S&W J frame (except, perhaps, for the M&P340) I am making them in cast resin and have some available for $20 plus shipping. I'm calling them BK Grips.

If you are interested, I have posted an ad at http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=7379628#post7379628 with a fuller description and ordering instructions.

Thanks for your interest.

Well, I'm taking pictures later today of 3 different shades of gray adapter on stainless and aluminum J frames. I can't really do metallic casting with my current process at anything like a reasonable cost. I'll post the images.

Well, it isn't there any more. I forgot to include my state of residence in the title, so I'm guessing it was just deleted by the mods. I'll try to get it reposted sometime today. (I'm only selling by mail, so where I live won't really matter, but I know - rules are rules.)

OK, ad reposted with state in title. I've updated the link above. Please see if that works.

Thanks for your interest.

Looks like your onto something 5. Do they attach with tabs like the Tylers do? Do gun cleaners adversely affect the material you use?
Thanks for your time and effort to bring these to market,it's always good to see new products and I hope you do well.

Yes, they have copper tabs that just get pinched between the grips and frontstrap, like we're all used to.

Gunscrubber, acetone and lacquer thinner do nothing to the surface, at least not when wiped on and rubbed off. (I haven't tested for soaking - if you tend to soak your guns, including the grips, in lacquer thinner  you're on your own, but please let us know how it comes out ;) .) Neither does BreakFree CLP.

I don't have any Hoppe's #9 on hand, but I have to assume it has no effect either. I also don't have any of the lead or copper removers, so can't say if they would have any effect. But I've sort of assumed that if Gunscrubber doesn't hurt, not much else that we put on our guns will hurt either.

Still no pictures working in this thread.

The one in the other thread works, so do it like that one.

Rcmodel, are you saying you don't see a huge close up shot of the grip adapter at the bottom of the original post? It's there when I look at the ad on my home computer and on my iphone. There's only one image

Nope.

Post #1 in this thread shows a box with a big red X in it where the picture should be.

I tried copying the link & posting it again, and it doesn't work.
The one in the For Sale thread does work.

It is a Huge picture for folks with a dial-up connection to load though.
Might want to reduce the size by about half.
